Welcome to Damma Mia, your seaside retreat in Damouchari, Pelion.
Below you will find two scenic road routes from Volos to our home, each with unique landscapes and travel experiences.
Choose your preferred route and enjoy your trip!
For a scenic drive along the beautiful coastline of Pelion and through traditional villages, follow this route:
1. Start your journey by driving on the ring road of Volos to its end.
2. At the traffic lights after the tunnel, turn right.
3. At the next roundabout, take the second exit on the left,heading towards Agria.
4. Cross Agria and continue for about 30 minutespassing through Kala Nera.Then, turn left towards Milies..
5. Follow the signs to Milies and continue on the main road to Tsagkarada, one of the most famous villages of eastern Pelion.
6. 10 minutes after Tsagkarada, you will reach the entrance of Mouresi.. Turn right towards Agio Ioanni and Damouchari.Be careful, as the roads are narrow.
7. Continue on the main road, turning right at every intersection, and in 15 minutes you will reach Damouchari.

Ξεκινήστε από τον περιφερειακό δρόμο του Βόλου, ακολουθώντας τις πινακίδες προς το ορεινό χωριό Πορταριά.
Περάστε μέσα από την Πορταριά και συνεχίστε προς το Χιονοδρομικό Κέντρο Πηλίου.
Μετά το χιονοδρομικό κέντρο, κατηφορίστε προς το Κισσό, και στη συνέχεια κατευθυνθείτε προς το Μούρεσι.
Στο τέλος του χωριού Μούρεσι (λίγο μετά το πρατήριο καυσίμων), στρίψτε απότομα αριστερά towards Agio Ioanni and Damouchari.. Προσοχή στους στενούς δρόμους.
Συνεχίστε στον κεντρικό δρόμο, turning right at every intersection, and in 15 minutes you will reach Damouchari.
For hiking, you can follow the 1.5 hour route that leads to Tsagarada, passing by the wooden bridge at the end of the beach of old Damouhari and continuing on the paved path called “kagiolia”, which was used in the past to transport products to nearby Tsagarada, Mouresi and the neighboring villages of Xourichti, Kissos, Anilio, Makrirachi and Zagora. As the route is steep, it is a good idea to plan your departure by 10:00 a.m. with water, sunscreen and a hat in your backpack.
The beach of Milopotamos is one of the most famous beaches in Pelion, known for its impressive landscape. The white pebbles, the clear blue waters and the large rock that divides it into two parts make it particularly special. The caves and rock formations create an idyllic setting, ideal for photos and exploration. Access is via stairs from the parking area, while there are few sunbeds and umbrellas, as the beach is not fully organized.
Η Fakistra is a small, secluded beach that offers absolute peace and relaxation. It is located in a cove surrounded by high cliffs and lush vegetation, while its waters have a unique turquoise color. The beach has golden sand with pebbles and is considered ideal for those who prefer more natural and quiet landscapes. Access requires a hike of about 10-15 minutes on a downhill path, which makes it less crowded, but also more enjoyable for those looking for a pristine landscape.
The beach of papa nero is larger and more organized, suitable for families and those who prefer more comforts. The fine sand and shallow waters make it ideal for children, while there are taverns and cafes in the area. During the summer, access by car is limited for the safety of bathers, but it can be easily reached on foot from Agios Ioannis.
20% Chorefto is one of the largest and most impressive beaches of Pelion, with a length of approximately 2.5 kilometers. It is located on the northeastern side of the mountain of Centaurs and is washed by the waters of the Aegean Sea. It is a seaside settlement with a special history, as it was the port of Zagori during the period of Pelion's commercial heyday. Today, Chorefto is one of the most beloved summer destinations, thanks to its natural beauty and diversity.
Οι Agioi Saranta is a large and impressive beach with blue waters and golden sand, surrounded by a lush pine forest. One of its most famous features is the large rock in the sea, known as "Kalogeros", which is ideal for diving from a height. The beach is partially organized, with sun loungers, umbrellas and a few taverns where visitors can enjoy local flavors.
Η Plaka is one of the most beautiful and largest beaches of Pelion, combining natural beauty and tranquility. It has fine sand, clear blue waters and a small river that flows into the sea, creating a unique landscape. The beach offers natural shade from the trees, while a part of it is organized with sun loungers and a beach bar. Access can be done either by car or via a path from Agios Ioannis.
